About this work
When the sun sets, the water-filled terraces mirror the silver moon, turning the whole valley into a shattered glass. Le Minh used pastel to hold the velvet softness of night light — colours laid side by side and blending in the viewer's eye.
A scene so still you can almost hear the water. The painting's message: even the hardest human labour, under the right light, becomes poetry.
